Born in Castelló d’Empúries, she studied at the Barcelona Conservatory of Music and later in Geneva and at the Toronto University (Canada) with Lorand Fenyves, Ivan Galamian and Ruggiero Ricci. She has been concertino of the Canada National Ballet Orchestra and invited guest concertino of the New York Metropolitan Orchestra, Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, Brussels Theatre de la Monnaie Orchestra, etc. From 1982 to 1989 she was concertino of the Ciudad de Valladolid Orchestra. She is director of the Spanish Youth Chamber Music Orchestra. In 1992, she founded the Vitoria-Gasteiz Youth Orchestra, being its artistic director. She is a teacher at the Spanish Youth National Orchestra and plays as concertino in the Pablo Sarasate Orchestra. She is now professor at the Salamanca Music Conservatory and performs with chamber music groups. From 1996, she is regularly invited to teach violin interpretation courses in the Music Courses of the Alcalá de Henares University (Madrid).
